Reasons Why the Philippines has the Right to Claim Some Islands in the Spratley Group of Islands

A Filipino sea adventurer Tomas Cloma was the first to discover the Spratley Islands,  wherein he declared to the world the established of the Free Territory of Freeedomland on May 15, 1956.
According also to the United Nations Convention Law of the Seas (UNCLOS), which was made on November 10, 1982 permits coastal states to extend their exclusive economic zone within 200 miles, this can be invoked by archipelagic countries. It is clear that some of the islands in the Spratley are under the 200 miles of the Philippines.
The establishment the Municipality of Kalayaan in the Spratley by the Presidential Decree 1596 of President Ferdinand Marcos is a clear claim of the Philippines in the Spratley.
